The shell fabric is coupled with an internal membrane that protects you from the rain while at the same time keeping the heat, without making you sweat or, worse still, smell.

The waterproof fabric that we at ProtoXtype prefer, is definitely the laminated silk: extremely light, waterproof, allowing an elegant and versatile look. It is also windproof and breathable.

While our laminated silk is a fabric suitable for everyday life, our outdoor jacket, made with a bonded fabric, is ideal for an adventure in nature, even in the rain. The three-layer fabric allows maximum protection from rain and wind, while the Kevlar patches that cover the shoulders and elbows prevent friction and sudden movements from damaging the jacket.
